AS W/IN SO W/OUT was a sculptural solo show exploring tension. The work examined the balance between opposing forces — interior and exterior, intimacy and distance, softness and structure.
Each piece of the exhibition existed in a state of suspension. Disentangled from its utilitarian origins, the materials were recast into forms that felt simultaneously fragile and commanding.
Presented as a solo exhibition at D2 Art Westwood during Frieze LA Gallery Week, AS W/IN SO W/OUT reflects an ongoing inquiry into equilibrium and the poetics of pressure. Through sculptural language, it examines how opposing forces—seen and unseen—shape the body, memory, and our sense of safety.
