ABOUT THE PROJECT
The project “Cabroncita” recontextualizes a classic 1997 Toyota Tacoma pickup, creating a mobile sculpture that challenges established social gender boundaries. The motivation behind this piece was to dismantle misogyny by putting womxn behind the driver’s seat and giving them control to lead the way.
*This truck is a bad girl vehicle made to pave the way for womxn disrupting the status-quo.
