PROJECT DESCRIPTION
“ANTIBODIES” was an immersive exhibition that reclaimed traditional ideas and questioned societal constructs.
Inspired by the concept of antibodies, the body’s defense against toxins, this show depicted a movement defending against and reimagining our approach to modern social structures. The collection focused on deconstructing the imposed ideal of uniformity, and emphasized the urgency of inclusion. In this space, dynamic forms challenge the status quo.
ANTI-AXIOM
ANTI-AXIOM recontextualizes a classic 1997 Toyota Tacoma pickup, creating a mobile sculpture that challenges established spaces.
Medium: Toyota Tacoma, bucket seats, steel steering wheel, rim, vinyl, standoffs, transformers, & neon.
I AM THE ANTIBODY
This 7ft tall neon piece presents a revised social structure that is inclusive of individuals who do not fit within societies structure. “I AM THE ANTIBODY” floods it’s environment with a protective orange tint.
