One time we stayed awake until sunrise, drove on an empty freeway at 90mph, and felt the cool wind against our faces making sure we didn’t melt away.

Old school Missy Elliott played through the aux cord as we sipped on beer and sped through the neon concrete hell.

Amid a cityscape oversaturated with neon and fractured LED light, Top Chopped Down reframes the classic car as both cultural emblem and sculptural intervention. A neon-lined, deconstructed Cadillac built from salvaged parts pairs the fragility of light with the resilience of metal, disrupting the visual codes of commercial signage and examining how status, mobility, and luxury are redefined through reclaimed utilitarian forms.
