One time we stayed awake until sunrise, drove on an empty freeway at 90mph, and felt the cool wind against our faces making sure we didn’t melt away.

Top Chopped Down is a neon-lined, deconstructed Cadillac rebuilt from salvaged parts sourced from the San Fernando Valley. Exhibited in a luxury storefront on Sunset Blvd., the installation examined how status, performance, and perceived value shift according to environmental context.
