The California Avocados Commission (CAC) Campaign by MullenLowe LA aimed to raise awareness of avocados grown locally in the Golden State. The inspiration for the new campaign came from the word: Avo-CA-dos. MullenLowe LA collaborated with local artists to incorporate various iconography related to California for the 2021 signature event.
This particular piece drew inspiration from iconic motel signage found along California’s freeways. The color palette reflects the nostalgic luxury of California’s sunsets and the vibrancy of its heritage, while the Old English font adds a contemporary touch to a vintage aesthetic.
